Annual NPC Reception

On Thursday 20 October 2011 the annual NPC reception took place in Tongeren. The NPC Commander, Colonel Stüttgen, was pleased to welcome many guests.

Colonel Stüttgen informed the attendees about the present reform activities for the NATO Command Structure and NATO Agencies. Relevant for the NPC is the future Communications & Information Agency (C&I Agency) which is planned to be established as of 1 July 2012. Furthermore, the Commander gave an overview about NPC’s support to present systems and to the future Air Command and Control System (ACCS). Col Stüttgen concluded by emphasizing the value of the close relationship with the local Belgian communities, especially Tongeren and Bassenge.

After the speech NPC personnel and guests were able to continue to discuss official and private business in a welcoming atmosphere.
